(Tuesday, September 26th): COLOR! Using It to Understand Your Clients and Increase Your Demand…
In September, APLD Oregon is pleased to host Christina Salwitz (The Personal Garden Coach) and Co-Author of Fine Foliage and Gardening with Foliage First…
Christina will discuss color – it can be both tricky to work with and one of the simplest tools in your arsenal as a designer if you know how it can work to your benefit!
There are color cues all around you that give you instant insight into what direction to take with a client and a design plan. Miss these and it can be at your peril. Catch them and you look like a psychic and design genius all in one. Learn how to spot the subliminal suggestions that your client doesn’t realize they are giving you before they have even opened their mouth and given you their “wish list”. It’s not about Gertrude Jekyll’s color wheel of flowers in the class!
